Exposed Skin Care Review

Exposed has been selling premium acne treatment products since 2001. Their philosophy is to combine the Scientific Ingredients with powerful Natural Extracts. The result is a system that effectively clears up acne and blemishes but is still gentle on your skin.

Our Comments: All Exposed acne treatment kits include the Vital Combination of Benzoyl Peroxide & Salicylic Acid. Very few systems contain this combination and Exposed ups the ante by then packing in Green Tea Extract and other botanicals. For these reasons we can recommend this product for most acne sufferers looking for a high quality, multi-active Over-The-Counter treatment. See some user reviews below or see the Pluses and Minuses in our Staff Reviews Snapshot

Acne Treatment: Exposed Skin Care Exposed Review: Summary

Acne Treatment Review for ExposedSkinCare
Reviewed by Nicole T. from Ft. Worth, TX on May 1.
Summary: As an integral part of acne treatment, the Exposed Skin Care Facial Cleanser is one of my favorite products. I have tried other available acne treatment solutions on the market, and this particular solution seems to be the best acne treatment that I have found. I always include a facial cleanser in my skin care regimen as this is capable of deep and thorough cleansing. This type of product is gentle on the skin, and it is also more effective in removing deep seated dust, dirt and oil that are buried underneath the skin than typical soaps.
What I Like About Exposed Skin Care Facial Cleanser - This acne treatment is non-comedogenic, meaning it is suitable for even the oiliest of skin as it won't clog up the pores. And as we all know, clogged up pores and trapped dirt are some of the main causes for having breakouts. The product is hypoallergenic too, so you can use it even if you have sensitive skin. Its special formulation is also comprised of ingredients that are not harsh on the skin, so that irritation and allergic reactions can be avoided. I have also observed that this facial cleanser works better if used in conjunction with other Exposed skin care products. By using a complete set that contains ingredients that work actively together, getting clearer skin becomes more attainable. Those products that carry the Benzoyl Peroxideingredient are particularly helpful as this type of medication is known to be effective against acne and scar tissues as well.
Although the cleanser can be used with other brands and types of products, there can be some clashing of effects and smells which could trigger allergies in sensitive individuals. The best remedies for breakouts and pimples therefore come in a set of acne treatments that work in different stages of cleansing. Active Ingredients Looking at the product label, you will see that purified water is one of the main ingredients of this facial cleanser. This component is essential not only in hydrating the skin, but also in providing nutritious elements that are necessary to have clear skin. The Cocamidopropyl Betaine ingredient is a great cleansing agent as it possesses the ability to remove dirt and dust underneath the skin. It also gives the product its lathering properties to make it foamy during application. Sodium Olefin is also a mild ingredient that works in balancing all the components present in the facial cleanser. It keeps the solution hydrated so that it's easy to apply on the skin. As we all want soft and supple skin, the emulsifier ingredient also becomes an important component. The Propylene Glycol ingredient keeps the skin moisturized by holding and maintaining a healthy level of water in this organ. Citric Acid is also a main ingredient in the Exposed Skin Care facial cleanser. Vitamin C is not only an anti oxidant, but it's a natural cleanser too. Just like vitamin C can help the body stay healthy and strong, adding this in a skin care product can rejuvenate the skin and slow down the signs of aging. The only problem with having a Citric Acid component in a skin care solution is that it can cause allergic reactions if you happen to have overly sensitive skin. But then, it takes a significant amount of this component to really cause any serious problem. Skin Care Products Plus Healthy Habits Equals Beautiful Skin It's true, the Exposed Skin Care Facial Cleanser really helped my skin's overall condition. I now have clearer and softer skin and the product is a pleasure to use too. It has a mild scent, and it's very affordable as well. The Exposed Skin Care site even offers a money-back guarantee for all their products, so consumers really have nothing to lose. Note that I am not totally depending on skin care products to keep my skin supple and youthful-looking. I know the importance of eating the proper diet, and I include fruits and vegetables in my daily meals. I exercise regularly too. And most importantly, I make sure that I get enough rest and sleep as too much stress can trigger breakout and acne. The best acne treatment, for me, includes the right skin care regimen and a healthy lifestyle.

Pros: Really the best acne treatment I've ever used and I've used them all.
Cons: A little bit expensive, but I bought the complete kits and saved money.

Acne Treatment Review for ExposedSkinCare
Reviewed by Pauline from Nashville on Apr 6.
Summary: Ever since my childhood I have lived an active life. However, my participation in all types of sports and activities suddenly changed when I reached my teen years. I started to grow pimples and this became extremely problematic when the pimples turned out to be like small evolved monsters on my face. Yeah, right. As friends told me, it was acne. Acne is a kind of skin problem (even your arms and back can develop acne) which is more difficult to deal with than pimples.
Acne looks bigger and projects a swelling look and most of the time, comes with a build-up of pus. Pricking acne can be very painful and what is even worse is that it can lead to scars on the skin. Think of this: what if you have your face is covered in acne? Or even worse: what if your face seems to be a battlefield of green bean seeds?
The truth is that I was startled by that thought. Despite the fact that friends have recommended me different types of facial cleansers and acne treatment products and acne treatments, I was continually left disappointed as it seemed I was spending my hard-earned allowance for nothing. In short, all of the products that I tried were ineffective.
I started my own search and discovered that the best way to get rid of acne was in Exposed Skin Care products. Thank goodness there was internet; I was so able to find a product that has been effective at healing my severe acne. I have tried several products from Exposed Skin Care and they all worked well for me. However, there is this one particular product that has been particularly effective at healing my skin and freed it from the horrible effects of acne build-ups.
The product was a facial cleanser that is actually a facial wash that is free of soap, hypo-allergenic, and non-comedogenic. This kind of facial cleanser is filled with clarifying ingredients and is also formulated with alpha and beta hydroxyl acid and olive leaves extracts. This cleanser effectively removes oil and dirt on the skin. It deeply penetrates the skin pores to kill bacteria that cause acne while maintaining the skin's natural lipids.
With a continuous use of this facial cleanser from Exposed Skin Care, I was able to clear my face of bad and ugly acne build-ups. For a couple of tricky areas I also used their Acne Treatment Serum which contains benzoyl peroxide which is excellent at clearing pores. I've used other creams and cleansing lotions which claim to contain benzoyl peroxide, but none have proved effective until now.
The ad I saw on the website was true and actually amazed me in the long run. It's only now I realized that of all the different acne solutions I've tried, this facial cleanser from Exposed Skin is simply the best acne treatment I've ever used. In just a few weeks, one will get the guarantee of having a beautiful, clear, and acne-free skin.

Pros: After just thirty days, my friends noticed that my skin had become lighter, fairer, and was already free from acne build-ups. I looked at the mirror in disbelief but what my friends told me is for real. I'm on my second year of using Exposed Skin Care products and all I can say is that I got the kind of facial skin I want season after season!
Cons: it wasn't obvious at the time that membership saved money off of ordering it separately every month.

Summary: Really have to recommend that you use Exposed if you have bad acne. • Clears deep acne pimples
  • Great for your skin

Pros:I have found this product to be very effective for me. I have tried many many products. Most of them are not good and try to lock you in with a free trial and then charge you a ton of $$$!!! Exposed did not do that to me which makes me trust them a little more :-)
Cons: I did not put the red plug back in my toner and it spilled in my suitcase. Next time I will remember to put in the travel plug that came with it.

Summary: I have only been using the product for about 3 weeks. Initially I was impressed because it seemed to have cleared up my acne. That next week I began to have red/white bumps and a rash on my forehead. I am starting to get frustrated as this will be yet another product that has failed to work. I am trying hard to be optomistic and will give it a little longer to get a better assessment. It is a good thing that my initial purchase was only the trial kit. I also ordered the pills that was suggested and have since stop using them. I should be receiving my first full size kit here soon, so I will see how it goes. I have read mixed reviews, so there is hope, but there is also skepticism. If it still doesn't work I hope I do not have any issues with the company cancelling my membership.
Pros:
  • Not harsh as some other products I've tried
  • scent is pleasant
  • leave skin smooth
Cons:
  • expensive
  • no free products with the system such as the mask; maybe it will make price seem better.
